On the occasion of the 69th anniversary of Student Day, the Higher School of Saharan Agriculture – Adrar organized a distinguished celebration under the theme “Friends of Memory”, held on Monday, May 19, 2025.
The program featured the following highlights:
Recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by student Kadi Mohamed El-Mahdi
The national anthem, expressing unity and patriotic spirit
A speech by the Director of the School, Professor Abdelkader Idou, highlighting the essential role of students in building the future
Remarks by student representative Belhadj Belkacem, reflecting student ambitions and challenges
A historical lecture on the significance of Student Day, presented by Professor M’barek Djafri, tracing the student movement’s legacy
A cultural performance by the band “Angham El-Sahra”, led by Ahmed II
A short story titled “Radiance”, written and presented by talented student Amina Bousfi
An award ceremony honoring outstanding academic and artistic achievements
Traditional chant performance by the University Residence “05 July 1962” group, titled “Ayyane El-Sahra”
A meaningful theatrical play promoting values of cooperation and perseverance
The event concluded with a communal meal shared in a friendly and festive atmosphere
